From Pimlico to Ewell

Grumbles in Pimlico has been running for over sixty years now, a track record that is unusual in the restaurant business. It serves very traditional British dishes, and although the food is decent enough I suspect that its appeal is mainly in the warm welcome of the staff and the cosy atmosphere.

Dastaan in Ewell serves some of the very best Indian food in the London area, with food that is higher in quality than almost all the places in central London that Michelin bestows stars upon. The setting is quite basic and simple but the depth of flavour that the kitchen extracts from its dishes is remarkable.
